Community Corner

Earth Day Every Day @ MPL

For many years the Township of Montclair has lead the way for New Jersey municipalities working to become more environmentally sustainable communities. In observance of Earth Day 2014, the Montclair Public Library will celebrate this feat with a public presentation, Earth Day Every Day, on Wednesday, April 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Main Library Auditorium.

Township Sustainability Officer Gray Russell will offer an overview of the many steps Montclair has taken over the past decade to go green, save money, protect public health and wellness, and preserve our local quality of life. In addition, updates on current environmental and sustainability programs and projects will be provided.

Q&A and an open public discussion will follow the presentation. The audience is invited to participate with commentary and questions.
