Sunday Spotlight - How Green Is Green Contruction

A discussion on how to renovate older homes with an eye towards making choices that are environmentally-friendly.  Architect Michael Margulies of Eclectic Architecture and Michael Hathaway of Revival Construction will discuss the myths and realities of green construction, and answer your questions about making smart, green choices for your own home renovation project. The speakers are ideally suited to discuss green construction and renovation. Margulies’ architecture firm has been honored with New Jersey Historic Preservation awards in 2011 and 2012.  The firm’s work includes residences as well as historic sites, such as the Estey House at Speedwell Village in Morristown and the Headley House in Clinton. Hathaway’s construction company strives to blend old-world artisanship with sustainable solutions.  He has a BA in Environmental Studies, is a LEED Accredited Professional, and has studied Cathedral and Timber construction in France.
