Every Wednesday Matinee @ MPL

This program screens classic films and, through November 2014, only films listed on the American Film Institute’s (AFI) list of the 100 Greatest Movies will be shown. Below are the dramas being screened this April, along with their AFI rank:

  • On the Waterfront (April 2) - 1954, 108 minutes, B&W, ranked #8
  • Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (April 9) - 1967, 108 minutes, Color, ranked #99
  • Citizen Kane (April 16) - 1941, 119 minutes, B&W, ranked #1
  • Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (April 23) - 1939, 129 minutes, B&W, ranked #29
  • A Streetcar Named Desire (April 30) - 1951, 125 minutes, B&W, ranked #45
