Female Rites of Passage Program

Kijana Kheper Rites of Passage will begin the 7th Season in October.  The goal of the program is to assist and guide young females ages 10-16, as they transition from childhood into young womanhood.  They participate in cultural and educational activities; guest speakers, intergenerational and communities activities, journal writing, etc. in an environment that is safe and fun.  They develop positive attitudes about themselves and their communities.

The group meets the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month, serving Essex County and surrounding Areas.
