We will walk the lands to
explore the connection we have with the Great Mother Earth, discuss healing
with herbs and learn how to get wild food no matter where you are. You will
leave with a new perspective of the incredible abundance of resources that
surround us and learn how to identify and discern between edible, medicinal,
and poisonous plants and mushrooms, as well as sample and taste several safe
and edible foods.

Please bring a camera and
notebook for recording the plants we find.

Dan Farella is a Forager,
Herbalist, and Musician dedicated to working with Nature to further the healing
of the planet and the soul. Dan teaches through Return to Nature (http://returntonature.us), which provides classes in
foraging, making medicinal products from wild herbs, fire making, and survival
in the wild. He also makes and sells wild herbal products, teaches music, yoga,
chanting, and meditation.
