Gardens of Reading Book Drive and Art Activity

The Gardens of Reading and The Grace Presbyterian Church Social Justice Ministry would like to extend an invitation for you and your families to attend a Book Drive on Saturday June 7th, 2014 from 1pm to 4pm. We will be collecting new and lightly-used children’s books. Books will be placed in crates (called "Gardens") and they will be delivered to waiting rooms/offices so children can read while they are waiting. In addition to the book drive, community members will be reading Eric Carle books, and there will be a fun art project with recycled paper for materials. Come to learn more about the organization, to listen to great stories, and to participate in a craft activity. People of all ages are welcome.
