Greenland Ice Sheet and the Greenland Rover

On
January 17, Sandra Passchier, Associate Professor of Geoscience in the
Department of Earth and Environmental Studies, Montclair State
University, will address the Montclair Society of Engineers on the effect
that the change in the stability of the polar ice sheets has on global
climate change. Also MSE member and Montclair High School
Robotics Team Alumnus Kyle Hobin will describe his work in designing and
building NASA's GROVER robot which carries ground penetrating radar to
measure the thickness of the Greenland ice sheet.
