 Each month, over 3,000
bags of non-perishable food are distributed to over 3,300 people in need by the
Montclair Human Needs Food
Pantry
, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary of service. During
the last three years, the number of men and women seeking food aid continues to
increase. The items are given to the elderly, disabled, and people seeking
employment as well as men and women who are disadvantaged in Montclair and
nearby communities.

 Rotarians and
Prudential New Jersey’s agents and brokers will collect food and funds on Sat.,
Sept. 28 at the Kings market on 650 Valley Road in Upper Montclair. Donations
will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Volunteers will continue to gather contributions
on Sun., Sept. 29 at the Kings market on 265 Pompton Avenue in Verona from 10
am to 5 pm as well.
