Integrative Parenting: Strategies for Promoting Self Regulation in Children

A workshop series 

Time: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. 
Date : Sundays   4/6, 4/13, 4/27, 5/4, and 5/18
Location: Location TBD in Montclair, New Jersey

Are traditional parenting methods like consequences, timeouts, and reprimands not working for you and your child? Does your child go into a full-blown melt down within seconds of what seems like a minor frustration? Is your relationship with your child suffering? If so, this workshop is for you. Learn about the child’s developing brain and how that understanding can guide you in helping your child to develop emotional regulation. Appropriate for parents of children of all ages.

Speaker/Moderator Bridget Devine, LSW, an IAC Center Counselor who specializes in adoption, parenting, adolescence and ADHD. She has trained in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy with Dan HughesTheraplay , and The Attachment and Trauma Center of Nebraska Bridget is also a certified parent coach.

Some adoption agencies will accept this workshop as credit toward the home study requirements. Certificates will be issued upon request.

Seating is limited. Pre-registration is required and should be completed at least one week prior to the event. Payment must be received in order to confirm your registration. Cancellations must be received at least three days prior to the event.
