"Jersey: A Sense of Place" at MSU tonight!

“Jersey: A Sense of Place” at Montclair State
University on Thursday, November 7th, in Cohen Lounge, Dickson Hall, MSU, from 4-5 pm.



The joint lecture is on two New Jersey writers:  the Rutherford-born William Carlos Williams,
and the Newark novelist Philip Roth.  Neil
Baldwin, Director of The Creative Research Center at MSU, will present a paper
entitled "'The local is the
only universal:' William Carlos Williams in New Jersey." James D. Bloom, a Professor of English and
American Studies at Muhlenberg College, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, will
present "Philip Roth: Newark and Beyond."
