Join Dr. Elliott and Dr. Janie Feldman at the September FORCE Meeting

Do you have a family history of breast and/or ovarian cancer?
Have you tested positive for a BRCA mutation? Are you considering genetic
testing? You are not alone.

FORCE, the only national non-profit dedicated to improving the
lives of individuals and families affected by hereditary breast and ovarian cancer,
is coming to Montclair Breast Center this September to help those navigating
the hereditary cancer path.

Meet guest speaker, Dr. Janie Feldman, a licensed practicing
psychologist who has over 20 years experience providing psychotherapy,
consultation and assessment to adults, teens, children, couples and families.
As a cancer survivor and BRCA 2 positive mother of three terrific teenage
daughters, she possesses unique insights into the challenges of confronting
hereditary breast and ovarian cancer (HBOC), as well as keen perceptions
regarding the genetic testing process, decision making, family reactions,
adjustment and recovery. Dr. Feldman will provide a thoughtful presentation
regarding managing the emotions common in the HBOC experience. Following her
presentation, there will be time for audience inquiries during a
question-and-answer session.
