Author of "Hitler's Priest",
Dr. Salavatore J. Tagliarini, presents a program honoring the memories of the
holocaust victims and to inspire present and future generations to learn from
the past. There are very few left who survived the camps. This program and his
book reflect his efforts to keep alive the memory of those who died and the
heroes who at great risk stood up for the Jews. We also have to remember and
forgive those around the world who stood in silence and washed their hands of
culpability. We must alert our collective conscience to make certain it will
never happen again. Tragically the lesson has not been learned as we have seen
in Africa in Rwanda and the Sudan. Those who ignore the lessons of history are
bound to relive them.
