Keshet, a vibrant synagogue with an innovative religious school based in Montclair, invites prospective members for coffee and conversation with senior Rabbi Elliott
Tepperman and assistant Rabbi Ariann Weitzman, Director of Congregational
Learning. Learn about High Holy Day observances, including youth and family
services, the Bnai Keshet community, and meet members, too. Have some dessert.
Bnai
Keshet engages the community at the intersection of spirituality,
intergenerational learning and social action. Founded in 1978, the
synagogue welcomes a diverse mix of ages and family styles, and the Bet
Midrash, or religious school, is widely recognized for its award winning Family
Education program. The synagogue site blends a restored historic home with a
modern worship space enhanced by artisitc glass and wood designs. Bnai
Keshet is affiliated with the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation, an
egailitarian movement that views traditional ritual from a modern American
perspective.
