Major Motion Picture Executive David Picker Talks about Film Industry and New Book at Montclair State University
Major motion picture executive David Picker will talk about his long life, prolific career and new book on November 19th, 2013 from 7-10pm in the Conference Center at University Hall. Picker has served as President and CEO for United Artists, Paramount, Lorimar, and Columbia Pictures during his career spanning over four decades. His credits include iconic films such as Tom Jones, the James Bond series, the Beatles’ A Hard Day’s Night and Help!, Midnight Cowboy, and many more. He will discuss his book “Musts, Maybes, and Nevers: A Book About the Movies.” The event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by Montclair State University’s Film Forum.
