Montclair African-American Heritage Foundation 2013 Golf Classic

The Montclair African-American Heritage Foundation "MAAHF" will launch its first annual golf outing at the Glen Ridge Country Club. The event is expected to draw representatives from prominent local and national businesses, as well as supporters and members of the community.

The Foundation would like to thank this year’s Sponsors:  American Express and Taylor Made Charters, Partners:  S.O.F.I.A and the Honorary Committee for lending their support.  This event’s Honorary Committee Members include: The Honorable Donald M. Payne, Jr., Assemblyman, Thomas P. Giblin, The Honorable Robert D. Jackson, Lonnie Brandon, Helen Frye, and Dr. Alfred Davis, Jr.  

The 2013 MAAHF Golf Classic participants will enjoy 18 holes of golf featuring a 12:00 - noon shot gun start with a scramble format, hole contests, meet and greet opportunities, and an awards buffet dinner at the Glen Ridge Country Clubhouse.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the education scholarship fund and cultural programs and services provided by MAAHF.  

The MAAHF is an organization solely supported by a committee of volunteers who have a connection to the Montclair community.  MAAHF has been recognized as a burgeoning grass roots organization focused on continuing and honoring the cultural legacy of the African-American community. In addition to cultural awareness initiatives, MAAHF provides self and health awareness programs.
