Monthly Jazz Jam Session in Montclair

A monthly jazz jam session takes place this Saturday, January 4th, from 7:00 to 11:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Congregration at Montclair at 67 Church St. This is a supportive musical environment, in which everyone gets to play, or sing, at whatever level of jazz proficiency they are at. We break into two sessions if we have enough players (a piano in each room). If you want to play or sing a tune that’s not in the Real Book, bring several copies of the music, preferably in the key you want to do it in. Original charts welcome.  A $5 contribution is requested to cover the cost of the bldg and refreshments. Please enter building on the left and proceed up the stairs.
