"Move the Money" demonstration
On Tuesday, December 10th at 6:30pm, join NJPA at
Montclair's Town Hall, 205 Claremont Avenue to get Montclair to pass the following resolution and to call
for the U.S. Congress to "Move the Money."
****Resolution before the Montclair Town Council:****
"We,
the Council of the Township of Montclair, call upon the Congress of the
United States to shift spending priorities from overseas and military
funding by redirecting our limited resources to meet pressing human,
community and local needs such as:

1. rebuilding our nation's infrastructure, with more resources to repair our local Montclair roads
2. creating jobs to rebuild our nation's schools and education system

fully funding our national mandate for educating our special needs
children under the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), thereby
reducing the property tax burden on our local Montclair residents.
