Opera, Champagne & A Little Jazz

Come support Opera Theatre of Montclair while having a fun evening of food, champagne and music. On Saturday, April 12, 8-11PM, Brian and Christina Cattell are graciously opening their lovely Montclair 1917 Craftsman Colonial home for this event.  The acclaimed jazz duo DYAD (Eric Olsen, piano, and Lou Caimano, alto saxophone) will open the program with arrangements from their new CD, DYAD Plays Puccini. OTM sopranos, Rosa D'Imperio, La Toya Lewis and Mia Riker-Norrie, and baritone Jim Pierce will be accompanied by Rebecca Eng, piano, in arias and ensembles by Bellini, Gershwin, Massenet, Mozart, Verdi and Wagner. There will be an auction of voice lessons, private performances and MAYBE some opera memorabilia! Advance tickets are HIGHLY recommended as space is limited.  $40.00 entitles you to a three-hour opera party including food, champagne, fun company, live jazz and operatic performances in one of Montclair's historic homes.  Plus you will be helping to establish an opera company in Montclair.  Advance tickets are highly recommended as space is limited:   https://www.artful.ly/store/events/2816  Alternatively, a check may be mailed to Opera Theatre of Montclair, 32 Cloverhill Place, Montclair, NJ 07042.  Opera Theatre of Montclair is currently a fiscally-sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts service organization.  Tax-deductible donations are accepted here:  http://www.fracturedatlas.org/site/fiscal/profile?id=7415 .  To learn more about Opera Theatre of Montclair, visit them on Facebook or at www.operamontclair.org .  Mia Riker-Norrie, General Director, may be reached at montclairdiva@gmail.com .
