Oratorio Society to Present Mendelssohn’s Elijah on November 16

The Oratorio Society of New Jersey, under the direction of Dr. Sándor Szabó, will present Mendelssohn’s Elijah on Saturday, November 16, at 8 pm at Immaculate Conception Church, 30 North Fullerton Avenue, Montclair, NJ.  This concert is being dedicated to organist Clarence Snyder Jr., who founded and conducted the Oratorio Society and who died in September.  Joining the Oratorio Society chorus for this performance of Elijah will be soloists Mark Fitzgerald Wilson (baritone, Elijah), Andrea Bargabos (soprano), Jann Degnan (mezzo-soprano), and David Kellett (tenor).  Admission to the concert is $20, and tickets may be purchased at the door.  CDs of past performances will be on sale as well.  Please note that Immaculate Conception is handicap accessible and parking is available.
