St James' Community Health & Wellness Fair

Critical blood shortage in North Jersey – Give blood at St James’
Church, Upper Montclair on September 21st
.



 It has
been reported that North Jersey medical centers are facing a critical shortage
in the blood supply. NJ Blood Services is holding a Blood Drive at the
Community Health Fair that St. James' Episcopal Church - at the corner
of Valley Road and Bellevue Avenue in Montclair - is hosting on Saturday,
September 21st, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  In addition to NJ Blood Services, participants in the Health Fair will include
Hackensack UMC Mountainside , Montclair State University, The American Red
Cross, NJ Sharing Network, National Eating Disorders Association, American
Diabetes Association,



Summit Medical Group, Gift of
Life Bone Marrow Foundation, Autism NJ ,The Brain Injury Alliance , Gotham City
Orthopedics, Elder Care, an integrative energy practitioner, yoga instruction
and massage. A variety of healthy snacks will be available.

 St James’ is offering this Community Health Fair to everyone in
conjunction with the Upper Montclair Sidewalk Sale in our neighborhood and the
"Art in the Park" Fair in Anderson Park (one block from St. James')
on that Saturday.



Please come to our Health Fair. Take advantage of the many educational opportunities and, if you can, donate blood in response to this critical
shortage !
