The Little Read

The Montclair Public Library Foundation Presents The Little Read 2013. Join us for our fifth annual read-aloud marathon, bringing Montclair citizens together in a celebration of literacy and community.
Schedule of Events:
Friday, October 25, 2013 at 7 to 8 pm: Bedtime Stories, with milk and cookies, read by actor Frankie Faison, star of HBO’s “The Wire,” Mayor Robert Jackson, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Penny MacCormack, and Library Director David Hinkley. Terra Café will be open for parents and caregivers.
Saturday, October 26, 2013: Golden Globe, Emmy and Tony-nominated actor Patrick Wilson, author and actress Dagmara Dominczyk, best-selling author Dottie Frank, and author and CNN Chief Business Correspondent Christine Romans to read starting at 3 p.m. at the Main Library. Many others from the Montclair community will read our favorite stories throughout the day.
• 1 pm to 2 pm at Montclair Art Museum, 3 South Mountain Avenue
• 1 pm to 3 pm at Bellevue Avenue Library, 185 Bellevue Avenue
• 3 pm to 5 pm at Main Library, 50 South Fullerton Avenue.

While the event itself is free to the public, all donations to The Little Read 2013 will benefit the Children’s Department of the Montclair Public Library. Visit www.montclairplf.org for updates.
