Third Sunday Poets at Watchung Booksellers featuring Adele Kenny and Basil Rouskas

The Third Sunday Poets series at Watchung Booksellers continues,
presenting new work by local poets and offering a friendly forum for
discussion and information exchange.

This month we are delighted
to host Adele Kenny and Basil Rouskas. Adele Kenny is the author of
twenty-three books of poetry and nonfiction. Her poems, reviews and
articles have been published worldwide. She is the recipient of various
awards, including two poetry fellowships from the NJ State Arts Council, first place Merit Book and Henderson Awards, a Merton Poetry of the
Sacred Award, a Writer's Digest Poetry Award, and the 2012 International
Book Award for Poetry.

Basil Rouskas' poetry has been (or is soon
to be) featured in venues such as The New York Times and the Princeton
Public Library Podcast, among many others. His first poetry collection
"Redrawing Borders" was published in 2010 and describes losses,
insights, transitions and changes as he leaves Greece and builds roots
in his new homeland. His soon-to-be-published second collection, "Blue
Heron On Black River", revists previous themes of transition and loss
and explores deeper questions of choice and self-actualization.
