What it is, is an open clay party for families. It’s an opportunity to come in to the studio after school on a Friday and complete a designated project. These family oriented workshops will include demonstration and guidance, all tools and materials needed, time for building, time for glazing and the necessary firing to complete all work. Our first project in time for Halloween will be a carved ceramic lantern. Think of carving a Jack-O-Lantern. This fun project will let kids and adults use their imagination, learn a variety of tools and skills, and come away with a beautiful lantern that when filled with light, will illuminate the design you have created.
