Where Do You Get Your “Criminal” Ideas? Panel Discussion

Do writers have access to a secret idea store or do their dreams work overtime, conjuring up characters and plots?  Do overheard conversations spark ideas that inspire novels?  Does real life, either their own or items ripped from the headlines, sneak into their books?  Join the Montclair Public Library’s Mystery Writers of America (MWA) on Wednesday, November 20 at 7pm for a diverse panel of crime writers—comedic, Nuyorican, horror-mystery, young adult, and suspense-to get the real story.
MWA is the premier organization for mystery writers, professionals allied to the crime writing field, aspiring crime writers, and those who are devoted to the genre. Aligned with this objective, the library is home to The Write Group.  The group is a diverse set of writers with one common goal: to encourage each other to keep writing.  The Write Group welcomes anyone with a serious interest in writing, and hosts meetings and workshops for free.
This event is free and open to the public.  For more information on this event and the library calendar, please visit montclairlibrary.org or call 973-744-0500 ext. 2235.  The library is handicapped accessible.
