The Start Out Fresh Intervention Advocates will host the third annual S.O.F.I.A. Walk Against Domestic Violence on Saturday, Sept. 7 in Canterbury Park in Montclair.

With the theme “With Awareness There Is Hope” the walk is a fundraiser for the Montclair-based non-profit organization which provides advocacy, support services and referrals for temporary housing to “at risk” women and children of domestic violence.

The mission of S.O.F.I.A. is to help the domestic violence victims the organization serves become survivors who are “self-sufficient, positive and successful.”
