The Junior League of Montclair-Newark Inc. (JLMN) will host its third annual "Run 4 Children at Risk" in Montclair on Sunday, Sept. 15.

The events include: a 4-mile race through Brookdale Park, a 1-mile fun run, and kids races on the track.

What sets the race apart from other fall runs, organizers explain, is the 4-mile and 1-mile events are both certified by the USA Track & Field organization (USATF), which is very important to most road runners.

Registration will also be possible on-site at Woodman Field, intersection of Chestnut Street and Essex Avenue.
