Fallon, Colbert BFFs For Montclair Film Festival

Late night talk show hosts make their comedic magic at special NJPAC appearance.

It was all kisses and sing-a-longs for the soon-to-be late night rivals Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon at Sunday night's benefit for the Montclair Film Festival held at NJPAC in Newark.

Colbert of Comedy Central's The Colbert Report and Fallon of NBC's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon were best friends forever (for a night), sharing stories, breaking into song and taking questions from the audience.

When Fallon takes over The Tonight Show in February 2014, he'll be sharing the 11:30 p.m. time slot with Colbert. (So it's only a matter of time before this BFF thing gets ugly.)

"Stephen Colbert in Conversation With Jimmy Fallon" was the third annual fundraiser featuring the host of Comedy Central's The Colbert Report doing good for his hometown film festival. Last year, he shared the Wellmont Theater stage with The Daily Show's Jon Stewart.

The third annual Montclair Film Festival will take place April 28 through May 4.

Monday, Nov. 25 is the deadline to submit entries for the official poster contest.
