There are many reasons to catch Charles Dickens classic Oliver! at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn this holiday season. But our favorite is that two Montclair boys are in the cast.

Bobby Axelrod is one of the Workhouse Boys in the production which opened Thursday and runs through Dec. 29. Axelrod was cast at an open call audition and competed against more than 200 children for the role.

Another local young actor, Will Flamm, is part of the ensemble.

Here are 5 More Reasons to Catch Oliver!

1.     It’s a musical! Tunes include "Food, Glorious Food," "Who Will Buy?," "As Long As He Needs Me" and "Consider Yourself."

2.     Celebrate the Paper Mill’s 75th anniversary season.

3.     David Garrison, of Married…with Children, plays the role of Fagin.

4.     You can take part in a Q&A with the cast following the Dec. 14 matinee performance.

5.     Tickets make a great holiday gift! Groups of 10 or more can receive up to 40% discounts.

Tickets range from $27 to $98 and may be purchased by calling 973-376-4343, at the Paper Mill Playhouse Box Office at 22 Brookside Dr. in Millburn, or online at www.PaperMill.org.
