Orthodontist Running for Montclair Public Library Finishes NYC Marathon
Eight residents of Montclair listed among race finishers from New Jersey.
Dr. Edward Gold, an orthodontist with a practice in Montclair, ran the New York City Marathon Sunday to raise funds for the Montclair Public Library Foundation.
Wearing bib No. 22434, Gold finished strong with a time of 03:43:45. He ranked 8,819 out of more than 50,000 runners who reportedly started the 26 mile and 385 yard race. At 57, he ranked 225th in his age group.
Gold has raised more than $7,300 for the local library on his fundraising page.
