Hear 'Judgment Day: A Rosh Hashanah Song for 5774 2013'

Rabbi Daniel Brenner of Montclair has penned a new tune.

Move over Adam Sandler ...

Montclair has its own Jewish high holiday song composer in Rabbi Daniel Brenner.

Brenner has followed up on his 2012 Hanukah song, "A Minor Holiday", with a ditty for Rosh Hashanah.

The new tune, "Judgment Day: A Rosh Hashanah Song for 5774 2013", was written and composed by Brenner, who thinks there are not enough songs for the Jewish holidays.

"Judgement Day" begins with, "The King sits on a throne so high/Lounging on an endless sky/Looking down on you and I/Judgment day."

The full lyrics are posted on YouTube so you can print out, copy and pass around for a holiday sing-a-long.

The multi-talented Brenner, who was named in 2009 one of America's 50 Most Influential Rabbis by Newsweek, is also a playwright, essayist and contributor to The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Huffington Post and other publications.
