No one imagined the devastation experienced in the New Jersey/NYC area during and after Hurricane Sandy came ashore near Atlantic City last week.
The aftermath of any natural disaster is a tough time for many, including college applicants and students. For those heavily affected by the storm, applying to college can be even more challenging. Yet, most of the obstacles can be remedied or accommodated.
Many storm victims have loss of personal property, including the important documents necessary for applying to college. These can include birth certificates, immunizations forms, and/or tax documents. Most all documents of this nature can be replaced by the appropriate state and Federal agencies.
