A New Yoga Studio in Montclair -- Jaipure Yoga

The path for those who practice yoga in Montclair is always offering something new to explore.  This weekend, Jaipure Yoga opens its doors to welcome the community.

Jaipure Yoga is manifested by the energy of three yoga teachers:  Kanan Kapila, Loryn Riggiola and Marcie Wallace

Kanan, Loryn and Marcie wanted to open a home studio to practice.  "I wanted a studio where I can, leave my harmonium and stop lugging it around town from studio to studio,"  Loryn said.

Jaipure is a combination of both English and Sanskrit translating to Pure Victory.  To achieve Pure Victory requires self mastery through committed practice.  JPY will share a sacred and safe space, encouraging personal transformation where the community can breathe life into it.  All three owners, agreed, their vision was the same right from the beginning like a perfectly practiced Trikonasana.

Jaipure Yoga's tag line, practice makes perfect has many interpretations:  to be comfortable, be where you are, not defined – refined, and simply enjoy the journey on your own personal path.  This inspires yoga students, of many levels, to unroll their mat without intimidation or competition.

What can the yoga students of Montclair expect from Jaipure Yoga?  Many choices will be offered to the variety of students within the yoga community.  On the schedule, look for vinyasa classes with a Not So Hot (80◦-90◦) temperature, Iyengar Rope classes and Xen Strength Yoga with Weights.  Kids, Pre-natal and Restorative classes will embrace specific demographics.

At JPY, the serious yoga practitioner can look forward to Master classes, workshops and teacher trainings.  After class relax in The Sip and Shop café, a space for hanging out with like-minded people cultivating community.

JPY's class schedule is filled with the who's who of Montclair yoga teachers:  three dedicated practitioners with open hearts; a compassionate, creative and fun vinyasa sequencer; an Iyengar devotee; a popular innovator of asana practice; and some new faces who are excited to call themselves yoga teachers.

This weekend Jaipure Yoga will host two events:  Loryn opens the doors this Saturday, August 24 at 8am with a Tri-Vinyasa Pure Flow 90 class.  Seane Corn will teach The Body and Beyond master class, where students will experience the creative and powerful practice of Vinyasa Flow as a devotional expression of life – beyond the body.As the yoga student walks around Montclair looking for a space to unroll their mat, Jaipure Yoga promises many options to explore.
