Kirtan with Sistashree & Hanuman at Asana House this Friday

This Friday, May 31st, Asana House & AYM hosts Sistashree & Hanuman:  A Soulful Night of Devotion at 7:00pm for the Lord Ram  release concert.

Devotional musician, Sistashree, has had a rich and diverse musical career.  With roots in soul, blues, jazz, funk and gospel as well as studying the ancient practice of mantra meditation for over 30 years.

Appearing at Asana House & AYM with her NYC based band Hanuman, they create rhythmical sounds that sooth and nourish the soul, elevating the spirit and showing you light.

With several Kirtan releases, Sistashree dedicates Lord Ram as a thank you to Sista Alice Coltrane for giving Sistashree joy, love and life.

Charmaine Warren, teacher at AYM, describes Sistashree live, "It is always a divine experience to watch Sistashree perform and to feel the words go through (her) body as she dance."
