Yoga Montclair Opens Yoga Morristown

Yoga Montclair Opens a Second Home -- Yoga Morristown

For some yoga studio owners, the prospect of opening a second studio requires a business plan, a strategy and months of due diligence.  For Omni Kitts Ferrara and husband Darryl Ferrara, owners of Yoga Montclair, the opportunity to expand came to them by chance and they embraced it.

Yoga Morristown opens with Grace.  Offering a wide range of classes taught by highly trained teachers, the schedule has something for everyone.  With some familiar faces from YM and other teachers from the Morristown area, these teachers are aligned with the energy of excellence.  This offering is as fresh as organic veggies from the first farmer’s market of the season.

In a recent conversation with Omni, I asked what inspired Yoga Morristown.  “It was one of those moments” she responded.  “This is my Dharma, my calling, to go with the flow.”  This view is as comforting as a hot cup of chai tea.

“Authenticity of Self”, Omni exclaimed, is the yoga practice and therefore the teaching. Yoga Morristown is not married to only one style.

The web site expands this:

“Yoga Morristown is here to be the radical affirmation of YES in your life. We are a community of individuals seeking to learn more about their bodies, minds  & hearts through the practice of Yoga.”

Yoga Morristown’s space is inviting with rustic natural elements.  The fireplace and wood floors provide the warmth to allow your practice to unfold.  The beautiful alter and Ganesha statue guide your spirit.  With the sun shining in the
big windows, you get that burst of energy lacking on cold winter days.

With the addition of Yoga Morristown, is YM branding itself?  “Our marketing
strategy is the opposite of a marketing strategy.  It is all about building  community.”  Omni makes it clear, this is not a franchise.

Yoga Morristown’s personality will blossom from the nectar of the community.
Omni continues, “Every house has its own calling.  I will serve the community; and the community will serve me.”  A marketing plan manifested from the heart.

With a salutation as blissful as a morning meditation, the web site draws me closer, “Everyone is welcome, please stay as long as the conversation intrigues you.”

See you on the mat.  Namaste.
