6-Year-Old Falls 25 Feet from Campgaw Ski Lift

The girl was transported to the hospital and treated for minor injuries, according to a report.

A 6-year-old girl who fell about 25 feet from a ski lift at Campgaw Mountain Saturday night was not seriously injured, NorthJersey.com reported.

According to the report, the girl was riding on the ski lift with her mom when she apparently panicked, did not get off at the appropriate time, and fell.

After being treated for minor injuries by the Campgaw ski team and emergency responders, she was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, N.Y., the report said.

The lift was temporarily closed, and an investigation into the incident is being conducted, the report said.
