CONSIDERATE MOTHER SEEKS REVENGE

I hate myself for harboring such rage, but still, 24 hours after my DeCamp incident, I still feel the need to vent.

I consider myself a kind person, considerate of others, raised to say sorry should someone bump into me, but last night's lack of HUMANITY by DeCamp employees has made me so downright angry.

I arrived at the New York Port Authority Gate 412 at exactly 9:30 pm to find the 66 bus parked with its doors closed.  In reaching the gate's door, I passed the PA Decamp Dispatcher chatting with a female bus driver, although I went straight to the bus door and knocked.  The driver (bus 8140 you know who you are!) completely and utterly ignored me, spoke to the Dispatcher who by now had gone to the driver's window,  and put the bus into reverse - all the while looking directly at me.  As if allowing me on the bus, with a pre-paid ticket in hand would somehow create a late departure?  (We know that NEVER happens....)  I, dumbstruck, could not believe this driver would pull away, knowing I, a lone female would need to wait in the nearly deserted PA for another 45 minutes.  When I reentered the building I asked the female bus driver why he would do such a thing.  Hher response was absolutely NOTHING.  Does DeCamp train their personnel such??  I mean, she did not utter a word to me, as if I was invisible.  I then sought out the Dispatcher who was utterly rude and said he would note the driver and get me on the next bus 45 minutes later.   When did a "service" provider lack such service or at the very least, general humanity and simple kindness?  Acting like I was asking for something out of line and why do we, the paying customers,  accept it?

I then dialed the main DeCamp Dispatcher who unemotionally walked me through using their website to log a formal complaint, "which you know lands directly on the Vice President's desk."

Well Mr. Vice President, I hope to hear from you soon.  And DeCamp you have managed to turn a compassionate soul into a vindictive shrew.  Touche, but thank you.
