Former MHS softball player, now playing CF for Seton Hall University hit 500 last weekend, with a HR, double, singles, a double and had a stolen base with two RBI's, a 1000 slugging percentage and a 595 OB %. This came at the Sun Devil Tournament in Arizona where The Pirates played Arizona State (#4 in country), Boston College, DRAKE, and Idaho State.
Haefeli is hitting 334 after 15 games this season.
This weekend SHU travels to the Las Vegas Invitational to play UNLV, New Mexico State , Bennington, avid BU.
Sara is also the only MHS softball player to ever play at the DI Collegiate level. She also holds every offensive record at MHS including home runs, RBI's, batting average, slugging percentage, extra base hits and on base percentage.
