iPod Stolen at Gunpoint in Montclair

Four local children walking in town Friday night were approached by armed robbers, according to Montclair Police. 

Two boys and two girls were on the 100 block of North Fullerton Avenue around 10:40 p.m. when they were approached by two masked men, police said. A purse and iPod were taken from one of the victims at gunpoint. 

The kids immediately went to one of their homes nearby where they were met by their parents who contacted police. 

The armed robbers were described as two black men, average height and weight, wearing black jackets and dark colored jeans.

The stolen items are worth about $260.
