Burglar Takes Computer, Piggy Bank From Pine Street Apartment

The resident found all the lights on and pry marks on her apartment door upon returning home.

A resident returned to her Pine Street apartment last week to find it burglarized, according to Montclair Police.

The Pine Street residence was left unoccupied between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 19 when someone broke into the apartment, according to reports. Upon returning to the apartment, the resident found pry marks on the door to the home and all the lights on. 

The resident also found jewelry boxes left on the kitchen table.

Police reported that an Apple MacBook, an iPod, two pairs of sunglasses and a pink piggy bank containing about $42 was taken.
