Painting Stolen Off Montclair Library Wall

Who stole the piece of artwork from the library? Police are investigating.

Montclair Township Police are on the lookout for whoever stole a piece of visual art last Thursday from the Montclair Public Library on South Fullerton Avenue.  

According to a department statement, the 6-foot-by-6-foot painting is described as a green, blue and yellow creation that featured a large peace sign. Police said the work is valued at $350. 

The painting was last seen the previous Tuesday at about 3 p.m., the statement said.
