Woman Accused of Threatening NJ Transit Bus Driver

East Orange woman charged with making terroristic threats aboard bus Saturday afternoon.

An East Orange woman threatened a New Jersey Transit bus driver Saturday afternoon, Montclair Police said.

Phylicia Jackson, 43, was charged with making terroristic threats, according to a department statement.

Police received a report a disturbance aboard a New Jersey Transit bus at about 12:20 p.m. Saturday. Officers went to the area of Bloomfield and Gates avenues, where the vehicle was stopped. The driver told police that Jackson, a passenger on the bus, threatened him, the statement continued.

Jackson was removed from the bus by the officers and placed under arrest. She later was released pending a court date, police said.
