Three-Alarm Fire Devastates Montclair Home, Report Says

Blaze broke out on Seneca Place Tuesday evening.

A family has been displaced after a fire broke out in their Montclair home early Tuesday evening, according to a report on NJ.com.

No one was injured in the blaze which appears to have started in the attic, and the cause remains under investigation, according to the report.

Crews could be seen securing the house Wednesday morning on the dead-end street which has only a handful of homes.

The three-alarm fire at 12 Seneca Place was reported around 5 p.m. and burned for about an hour while firefighters from the Montclair Fire Department along with assistance from surrounding towns worked to put it out, the report said.
