A fire broke out in two-story home on Llewellyn Road early Saturday evening.
At about 5 p.m., at least three Montclair Fire Department fire engines and several emergency vehicles rushed to extinguish a fire on Llewellyn Road. Police and fire departments had the street cordoned off between Clinton and South Mountain avenues.
A fire engine's ladder could be seen extended from the street to the second-floor and attic windows of the home. The windows, which faced the street, were broken and blackened.
Neighbors crowded outside of their homes and stood in the sidewalks to witness the fire department extinguish the flames.
It could not be verified if anyone was home or injured at the time this article was posted.
