Landscaper's Pickup Truck Stolen on Clifton Ave.

The Ford F-350 was stolen while the owner shoveled snow nearby, police said.

A landscaper’s pick-up truck was stolen while its owner was shoveling snow last week on Clinton Avenue in Montclair, according to township police.

Montclair cops responded to the 100 block of Clinton Avenue last Wednesday just after noon following the report of a motor vehicle theft. 

The vehicle’s owner informed cops that he had parked his black Ford F-350 on the street at 12:05 p.m. and left the vehicle off but unlocked with the keys inside, according to Montclair police.

The landscaper was nearby shoveling snow in a rear yard and when he returned to the vehicle approximately 12 minutes later the truck was gone.
