Man Wanted for Offering 8-Year-Old Boys a Gift, Police Say
The two children were approached Saturday in a parking lot of a Pine Street complex.
A man approached two 8-year-old boys and offered them a gift Saturday in the parking lot of a Pine Street complex, Montclair Police said.
The man was holding a gray plastic box and asked the children if they would like a gift, police said. The boys declined the offer and the man left the area on foot, police said.
The man was described as a black man about 30 years old, approximately 5-foot-11 with a crew cut, wearing jeans and a jean jacket with a green and blue striped shirt, police said.
