Montclair Swears In New Police Officer
Officer Macheo McClean is a resident of Montclair.
Montclair Police Officer Macheo McClean completed his one-year probationary period with the department and is now a fully-qualified member of the force.
Municipal Clerk Linda Wanat administered the oath of office to McClean in the council chambers on Monday morning.
McClean served as a detective with the East Orange Police Department, prior to joining the MPD in November 2012.

The Montclair resident graduated from Montclair High School in 2000 and attained a bachelor's from William Paterson University in 2005.
