Santa is dropping by Montclair early this year to personally hand out gifts to local children.
For the third year in a row, the Montclair Police Department and Police Benevolent Association #53 will hold their annual Santa visit, and bring presents and good cheer to children in town.
Santa, who will forego his sleigh and reindeer for a police escort, will go door to door visiting children from Sunday, Dec. 16, through Tuesday, Dec. 18.
To request a personal visit from Kris Kringle for you child, fill out a request form at Police Headquarters, at 647 Bloomfield Ave., or go to www.montclairnjusa.org.
When filling out a request form, bring in a gift for Santa to deliver to your child. In addition, the department is asking that you bring a new, unopened present which will be donated to the Montcliar Salvation Army’s toy drive for local children.
For more information, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for requests is Friday, Dec. 14.
