As a probationary officer, she will undergo a 12-week field-training program, which will pair her with specially trained, experienced, patrol officers.

The training curriculum covers a wide range of topics from departmental operations, at-scene criminal investigations, and handling domestic violence incidents, to traffic enforcement and issues of homeland security.
