Some refuse and recycling collections in Montclair may be delayed because of poor road conditions following snowfall early Tuesday.
DPW crews were out plowing on the hills throughout town but roads are still slippery and township roadways will be plowed until the storm is over and all roads have been addressed, according to township spokesperson Katya Wowk.
"Due to the amount of snow at this time and the shortage of salt to fight accumulations, driving throughout the duration of the storm will be treacherous," Wowk said. "Please be careful and allow yourself extra time to get where you need to be."
Senior citizen bus service is suspended Tuesday due to slippery conditions, Wowk said.
"Warmer temperatures are forecasted for later in the day which should help with final cleanup," Wowk added.
