Montclair Property Owners: Pay Your Taxes Online

Montclair property owners can now pay their tax and utility bills online using a credit card or electronic check — for a small fee.

Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards may be used on the online payments portal for tax payments. (Visa credit or debit cards are not, however, accepted for utility bills.)

Debit and credit card payments will be charged a 2.95 percent convenience fee. Electronic checks will be charged $1.05 per transaction.

Third quarter estimated property tax payments are due Thursday to the Montclair Tax Office. 

Property owners have a 12-day grace period to pay their taxes. Payments received after Aug. 12 will incur interest charges from the Aug. 1 due date.
